Chiang Mai region is home to mighty Mae Taeng River, which becomes a thrill seekers dream, during the Monsoon months (June – October). With rapids easily reaching grade 4 & 5. Should you wish to add these on to your trip then please tick the WWR box when making a reservation. Please note that the dry summer months of March – April can cause the rivers levels to drop significantly so White Water Rafting  is not recommended during these months.

Kayaking Chiang Mai

If you’re not so keen on the rush of WWR but still want to enjoy some river based activities then we can also arrange a more relaxed experience. Bamboo Rafting, Kayaking and Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP)  are activities that can be arranged throughout the year. Zip Line Adventures

Zipline Chiang Mai Tours at the Tree House hideaway

For those who want to experience the thrill of flying through the jungle canopies of Thailand’s lush jungle we combine a stay at the tree house with a zipline Chiang Mai tours adventure. Chiang Mai has many zip lines companies, we have partnered up with Eagle Track a zipline company that has a great tack record for safety as well as providing a fun and engaging experience, via their hands on guides and overall  service minded approach.   The zip line adventure is usually done on the day on the 1st of morning of your stay at the tree house. You can choose various packages, some short routes or longer.

The only specific requirements are that Zipliners need to a be a minimum of 120cm tall and not suffer from vertigo! A buffet lunch is also included in the experience.  For more info please tick the zipline category when making a reservation and we will get back to you with full details

Tree House + Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary Tour

Elephants and Thailand go hand in hand and In Chiang Mai and, as part of your stay at the tree house we are able to offer you a tour to a Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary. We can organize a full day mahout program where by you learn how to feed, command ride bareback or walk with your elephant, followed by bathing the elephant. If you are short on time we can also organize half day tours to the parks.
